Schooner Bay

We've been having a great time at Schooner Bay.  The place is beautiful. Its been in development for a few years and feels a bit odd to be here with so much infrastructure compared to what has been built out so far.

I've been working mornings from the house and watching at most one boat pass each day.  It is so quiet and relaxing here.

The afternoons I have been working at the Beach Cabana.  Tough place to work!  Charles had to work on Tuesday so we both spent most of the day enjoying working with a view of the Beach/Ocean.

While we worked everyone else enjoyed Fishing / Beaching/ Snorkeling..

They saw a few turtles...

John caught a Grouper..

Gillian found a new friend (she always finds the animals!)

and Momma relaxed!

After work, we headed up the ridge to the ocean side to enjoy the breaking waves.

Charles cracked a half dozen coconuts for some pina-colada's with a splash of strawberry (non-alcoholic for the kids of course)

Charles and I ate some tuna while Brandy and John had Grouper Club Sangwhiches (new recipe.. no pics)..

And then we found a lookout platform where we went watch the stars again.   Not sure if they are asleep or stargazing, but it was a quiet night!

An awesome day to say the least.   I'm still counting my blessings!
